Here are some of our success stories.

Mfundo Ndlovu’s story.

Mfundo Ndlovu, aged four, was brought to our Bulawayo clinic by his mother in 2012. They traveled from Tsholotsho, a small village 3 hours west of the city. Mfundo was suffering from ASD, or a “hole in the heart”. The only solution for this problem is heart surgery, which is not available in Zimbabwe. Cosmos HealthCare Incorporated connected him with cardiologists, while we located an affordable hospital or doctor – a search which took us around the world.
In May 2015, the Lord opened a door in Italy. Mfundo’s surgery took place in Genova.  He and his mother safely returned to Zimbabwe in September 2015. Our nurses recently checked on him. He is doing well, has improved greatly, and is so proud of his scars!

Pauline’s story

Pauline is a mother who attended one of our outreach clinics at Hamara near Bulawayo back in August. She had a large tumor growing on her left eye which had been growing for many years. The Cosmos HealthCare and Sizolwethu staff assessed her eye and sought advice from a good friend Dr Stephen Beaty (Ophthalmologist) in the USA. He referred Pauline to Dr Jana an Ophthalmologist at Richard Morris Eye Hospital in Bulawayo. Thankfully the tumor was found to be benign and not life threatening. Recently Dr Jana used his skills to completely remove the tumour. Even though Pauline has some residual cloudy vision, she is still extremely happy and very grateful to God for this blessing. Amazingly, this whole process only cost a couple of hundred dollars, a fortune for many in Zimbabwe.
