This is the story of Rachel Chiduru, a 16-year-old girl from Shangani who first presented to us with recurrent tonsilitis but unfortunately could not afford the procedure to have her tonsils removed.
Thanks to help from our generous donors, who continue to go above and beyond the call, Sizolwethu was able to help out and Rachel was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 14th of August and had her tonsils successfully removed on the 15th of August.
She was discharged on the same day and has returned to Shangani where she is no longer in pain!
